Tyler Smith

Program Manager

Tyler joined BEF in 2023 as the Business for Water Stewardship Program Coordinator.

He strives to understand watershed conditions by conducting basin research and collaborating with in-basin partner organizations. He aims to deliver long-term, high-impact and equitable solutions to ecosystems and their communities through strategic project portfolio management.

Prior to joining BEF, Tyler spent years in the public sector analyzing water rights throughout Idaho, gaining a deep understanding of the intersection of water policy and management in the Western US.
