Program Overview
The symposium will provide Arizona state legislators, both new and returning, with a content-rich and non-partisan primer prior to the start of the 2023 Legislative Session. The program will ensure Arizona’s lawmakers have not only the foundational knowledge, but also the context and history to engage on the water policy issues that are critical to the future of the state. Our goal is that attendees leave with a better understanding of Arizona’s current water situation, how we got to where we are today as well as what we need to do to be successful as we continue to move forward.

The day’s events are hosted by Business for Water Stewardship (BWS), a program of the Bonneville Environmental Foundation. BWS helps businesses work collaboratively with community and policy stakeholders to advance solutions that ensure people, economies, and ecosystems have enough clean water to flourish. This program is part of BWS’ commitment to promoting water-smart policies.
