Sara Hoversten

Senior Director

Sara has been with BEF for over 5 years and currently holds the position of Director of Business for Water Stewardship.

In this role she oversees the strategic approach and implementation of the program, engages and maintains corporate partnerships, and helps guide the investment in conservation partners. She’s focused on growth opportunities for the program that continue to drive support for partners and the on-the-ground impact and expand the environmental water stewardship field with an eye on equity and diverse perspectives.

After graduating with an M.B.A. in sustainable business practices, Sara launched her career in sustainability working for a nonprofit in the sports industry.
