Leak Detection Project

Toilets are the biggest user of water indoors, and toilet leaks are the #1 source of water waste in multi-family buildings. Leaky toilets are big water wasters, usually easy to fix, but very hard to detect – especially in large multi-family buildings. This project is implementing a new “Internet-of-Things” (IoT) technology that identifies leaks and sends real-time alerts to property managers so they can quicky address it. The buildings receiving this technological solution are nonprofit-owned low-income housing in Los Angeles, California.
